If you aren’t a huge Rihanna fan like us here at Bene Caribe, then you might only know the Caribbean icon as a singer, dancer, designer, entrepreneur, or that celebrity you’ve seen in the media.
What we love most about Rihanna, however, isn’t that she is a MOGUL or how great of a performer she is (she’s amazing we know), but how much she gives back to the community.
Here are our top 5 reasons for loving this humanitarian!
Rihanna visited Malawi to learn about the challenges facing the country’s educational system as part of her role as founder of the Clara Lionel Foundation and Global Ambassador for the Global Partnership for education.

This woman has 73.8 Million fans just on Twitter!
If you’re a citizen or native of Brazil, Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Grenada, Guyana, or Jamaica in an accredited Uni and have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.5, you’re eligible to receive 5 - 50K in scholarship!
This ball was also created to honor her grandparents if you needed any more reason to love her!

“All you need to do is help one person, expecting nothing in return. To me, that is a humanitarian. People make it seem way too hard, man”
We highlighted Rihanna because she has used her resources to the best of her ability to make a difference in the community she came from. We do want to STRESS that it doesn’t matter how much money you have. Like Rihanna said, “all you need to do is help one person.”
All we ask at Bene Caribe is to recognize where you came from and help out using your time, skills, creativity, and money if you have it, to make the world a better place.
